What Details Should Be Paid Attention To In The Process Of Table Mould Processing

Table Mould processing is divided into: milling machine, grinding machine, EDM, CNC, EDW, CMM, mould-saving polishing, fitter assembly and other processes; Each process has its own processing characteristics, and different products have different processing requirements for moulds; In terms of machining, it is mainly on the premise of reasonable mould design to improve the machining accuracy of the mould as much as possible, and the machining accuracy is controlled by various technologies.

The following is the table mould processing need to pay attention to:

1. The shrinkage coefficient of each material is different, so the table mould should have a reasonable shrinkage rate.

2. The table mould should have enough rigidity, otherwise it will deform and cause “flash” when closing the mould and maintaining the pressure.

3. If the product is ejected while opening the mould, the ejector page of the injection moulding machine can be set (but some injection moulding machines do not have this function).

4. Choose a reasonable demoulding method, and choose a reasonable position and number of ejector pins to ensure that the products are not damaged during ejection.

5. The cooling (water passage) in the table mould is related to the product size, shape, plastic properties, holding time and other factors.

6. The table mould should select a reasonable exhaust position and control its quantity. Otherwise, the plastic injection will be dissatisfied and the product will be “short of materials”.

7. The table mould and injection moulding machine should be fixed reasonably, reliably and firmly, so as to prevent accidents caused by displacement during mould closing. And easy to disassemble.

8. The table mould moves with the injection moulding machine together with the moving mould part without the return spring, which is because the ejector plate of the mould is connected with the ejector rod of the machine (commonly known as strong ejector).

9. The sprue should be selected reasonably, so that the material can reach every place evenly (equal flow path), and there should be enough storage capacity to ensure that the plastic is replenished during the shrinkage process.

10. Post-treatment of table mould material is unnecessary, because the plastic is soft and does not require any special requirements such as hardness, and the heat treatment process may cause deformation of the mould.

11. The roughness level in the cavity of the table mould should reach “mirror level”, otherwise the product will be difficult to demould, and the product will be damaged due to excessive force during ejection. Roughness of locating pins, clamping surfaces and other parts are regulated by standards.
