Water Flow Defect Of Zinc Die Casting
Everyone knows more or less about zinc die casting parts, and every die-casting part will have more or fewer problems. So today we talk about the problem of why there are shortcomings in zinc alloy die castings.
Water flow is also called cold pattern or air mark, they are all in the same condition. The water flow is generally as a line on the surface of the casting, and the areas separated by that line are all independently condensed. The emergence of water flow is due to the fact that the molten metal material is hardened by touching the mold wall before all the molds of the abrasive tool are filled. Later, the molten metal flow fills the mold cavity from the other side and touches the part that has been condensed. The later injected metal material does not have sufficient kinetic energy to melt the condensed metal material but only condense on its periphery. Then there is water flow between each other. If the molten metal material injected later has sufficient kinetic energy to melt the condensed metal material, it is not easy to define a significant boundary between each other, and no water flow can be produced.
The above are the causes and solutions of water flow in zinc die castings. lead die casting also has more or fewer problems, so you must be careful when walking straight.
