This. EA did a great here by taking the side of individuals standing up to tyranny. EA found an excuse to get time to polish a ***. They can claim to Mut 21 coins be progressive as they want, but their internal work culture is completely cut-throat, betray your best buddy for a bonus and a sports car, internally sabotage your competitors job, kinda culture. There’s a reason people hate EA both internally and externally. It is really pretty popular in Brazil, specially on TV, in terms of evaluations it obviously loses out to football by a pretty wide margin, but I would say it’s on par with the NBA, Tennis and Formula 1 here. For the previous years cinemas have even begun to demonstrate that the Super Bowl in theaters live since it’s a pretty major event.
However, it’s not a favorite sport for folks to play since it requires a lot of equipment, but there are amateur soccer or flag soccer teams in every city and many universities. Who cares why they are doing it, can we respect that they’re doing something? I imagine they already sent press coverage material to various publications in preparation of launch which trailer, and instead they are most likely spending a lot of time sending mails to say they’re delaying it. Edit: Seeing a lot of opinions that are such as: Well they do nothing. To that, I will just answer, they might still do less by just silently pushing back any proposed trailer reveals, and that this is still a company twitter which means someone had to find the tweet approved on some level, which means someone did something. It’s not a lot, but again… Nevertheless something.
They’re like, not doing anything. Some artwork guy somewhere spent 15 minutes placing platitudes onto a black background and they tweeted it out. I’ve noticed a dozen of these already and it is about as useful as placing about the rainbow icons for pleasure. It’s promotion during a catastrophe by trying to appear sympathetic. Perhaps, but I think that it’s something. Half the answers I found on Twitter were folks freaking out about it.
But police brutality and NFL are two topics that have been pretty nicely intertwined with each other last few years due to all the protests. And there are a decent amount of football fans who do not”make it” (see Mike Pence, or invest over 5 minutes with my conservative father in law), so even if it’s just a trailer to get a ridiculous Madden game, I’ll take it. Otherwise, maybe it is going to *** off them, I am fine with that also, because *** em. And they also could have achieved nothing. They could have waited a week or two for this to *** over and cheap Madden 21 coins released it then. This manner gets the message out there, even if they have absurd business motives, it is far better than nothing. There is many companies and lots of celebrities doing and saying nothing. I respect anybody who is speaking up.
