The Chair Mould Meets The Requirements Of Forming Parts
The coordinated change of the convex and concave dies of the Chair Mould and the auxiliary moulding system can process a series of plastic parts of different shapes and sizes. In order to meet the demand of forming parts, we need to pay attention to some matters when selecting chair moulds and put forward corresponding requirements. The following six requirements need to be satisfied in selecting a more suitable chair mould.
1. Many resins and additives with high corrosion resistance have corrosion effect on the outer surface of the cavity. This corrosion causes the metal on the outer surface of the cavity to dissolve and fall off, the outer surface becomes bad, and the quality of plastic parts becomes poor. Therefore, it is better to use corrosion-resistant steel or chrome plating and cymbal nickel treatment on the outer surface of the cavity.
2. The gloss and precision of the plastic parts with good wear resistance are directly related to the wear resistance of the cavity surface of the chair mould. Especially when glass fiber, inorganic filler and some pigments are added to some plastics, they flow with the plastic melt at a high speed in the flow channel and the cavity, resulting in great conflict with the cavity surface. If the data are not wear-resistant, they will soon be worn and the quality of the plastic parts will be damaged.
3. Outstanding dimensional stability During plastic moulding, the temperature of the mould cavity of the chair should reach over 300℃. For this reason, it is best to choose tool steel (heat treated steel) that has been properly tempered. Otherwise, the microstructure of the data will be changed, and then the size of the chair mould will be changed.
4. Easy-to-process mould parts are mostly made of metal materials, and some structures and shapes are still very messy. In order to shorten the production cycle and improve the power, it is required that the chair mould is easy to be processed into the shape and precision required by the drawings.
5. plastic part with good polishing performance usually require excellent gloss and appearance. therefore, that surface roughness of the cavity is required to be very small. in this way, it is necessary to carry out surface processing on the cavity surface, such as polishing, grin, etc. Therefore, the selected steel should not contain coarse impurities and pores.
