Some art guy somewhere spent 15 minutes putting platitudes onto a black backdrop and they tweeted it out. I have noticed a dozen of Madden 21 coins them already and it is about as useful as placing on the rainbow icons for pleasure. It’s advertising in a tragedy by trying to seem shaky. Maybe, but I still think it’s something. Half the answers I found on Twitter were folks freaking out about it. The one I liked the most was,”But video games are an ideal distraction for stressful times like these!”
But police brutality and NFL are two topics that have been pretty nicely intertwined with each other last few years due to all of the protests. Otherwise, perhaps it is going to *** them off, I’m fine with that too, because *** em. And they also could have achieved nothing. They might have waited a couple weeks for this to *** over and published it afterward. This way receives the message out there, even if they’ve silly business motives, it is far better than nothing. There is many companies and many celebrities saying and doing nothing. I respect anyone who is speaking up.
They could have just quietly made no statement and sent countless mails out to the press stating they were delaying the day they had been officially releasing the trailer. That tweet probably also needed to get approval from some people fairly high up. Sure they could do more, but they certainly could do . Perhaps this paves the way for much more large gaming firms making pseudo political announcements? Majority of bigger announcements planned for this week if this doesn’t have a peaceful resolution within the next few days. Bringing any focus on the protests helps the protests. Does not matter if they are profiting from it. I couldn’t have stated it better. Who cares if they stand to profit off it… Which I really don’t believe they will gain more than they just didn’t say anything. It is quite literally the absence of advertisements. They are specifically not holding their event/reveal.
It is advertising. Anything posted on a new social media is advertising. To be honest, this is the first I’ve heard about the reveal. It’s currently on my radar because of this tweet, therefore it’s still advertising. This isn’t doing anything though and quite frankly some people have had our intelligence insulted way too much with the slew of dumb ***”we stand together with you via covid” ads by companies in recent months. These very same companies that are actively *** over their workers during this outbreak. Like badly, Amazon of all *** firms has a God *** covid ad with some asshole preaching about how much the company is doing to buy mut coins madden 21 protect it’s workers which people who have followed recent events will understand is complete *** ***. It’s a *** joke frankly.
