Operating Parameters of Ro Spare Parts
Ro Spare Parts(KOKOELECTRIC) remove up to 99% of dissolved salts (ions), granules, colloids, organics, bacteria and pyrogens from the influent (although they should not rely on reverse osmosis systems to remove 100% of bacteria and viruses). The RO membrane excludes contaminants based on their size and charge. Any contaminant with a molecular weight greater than 200 may be rejected by a properly functioning RO system (for comparison, the molecular weight of the water molecule is 18). Similarly, the greater the ionic charge of a contaminant, the less likely it is to pass through the RO membrane. For example, sodium ions have only one charge (monovalent) and are not repelled by the RO membrane and, for example, calcium with two charges. Again, this is why the RO system does not remove gases such as CO2 well because they are not highly ionized (charged) in solution and have a very low molecular weight. Since the RO system does not remove gases, when CO2 is converted to carbonic acid, the permeate water can have a level slightly below normal pH, depending on the level of CO2 in the feedwater.
For high flow and low flow applications, reverse osmosis is very effective in treating brackish water, surface water and groundwater. Some examples of industries that use reverse osmosis water include pharmaceuticals, boiler feed water, food and beverages, metal surface treatments, and semiconductor manufacturing.
Ro spare parts performance and design calculation
There are some calculations used to judge the performance of the RO system as well as design considerations. The RO system has instruments that display quality, flow, pressure, and sometimes other data such as temperature or hours of operation. In order to accurately measure the performance of the RO system, you need at least the following operating parameters:
Feed pressure
Osmotic pressure
Concentrated pressure
Feed conductivity
Osmotic conductivity
Feed flow
Permeate flow
Temperature
