New Nike SB Blazer Snakeskin Set to Release
Nike SB Blazer Snakeskin has been on a hot streak of releases so far this year, from the debut of the vintage-styled Blazer ’77 to collaborations with Slam Jam Socialism and a widespread project with Stranger things. First, the standard Swoosh resting on the lateral sides has been shrunk considerably and appears to be made from stiff TPU plastic, like Nike’s series of “Jewel Swoosh” projects. The tongues feature a blood-red label with Nike SB branding, while a chenille Swoosh wraps around either heel from the medial to lateral sides.Aside from the uniform snakeskin upper, Soulland’s new Nike Blazer Mid also includes a number of other enticing details. This week, another new release for the classic silhouette surfaced online, showing off the basketball-turned-skate shoe in a sleek new snakeskin-covered look, courtesy of the team at Denmark’s Soulland. Finally, the new look is completed by Soulland’s brand name painted across the entirety of each outsole in maroon.

It’s something that the sneaker community has begged for over the past few decades, a steady stream of high-quality, original and new Jordan 1 releases. While the look is drastically different from the mock-up, its still quite enticing. This week, we have our first look at a sample of the “Metallic Silver” color scheme that first surfaced online a few weeks ago. Featuring an all-black upper accented by red laces and Jordan Wings logos, the shoe shows no sign of metallic silver color, though the seemingly woven quarter panels could contain a few 3M threads mixed in. Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait until 2020 to find out.
