It may appear to be a perplexing request, but lore-wise, it might be interesting to play with an Angel fighting hordes of Diablo Gold demons. The decimation of Heaven might even lend this way, but it is unlikely to happen at launch, in DLC, or even ever really for two chief reasons.

To begin with, the concept of this franchise is mortals beating allies, and also an Angel is clearly not a mortal.
