For this week’s Madden simulation
Odell Beckham Jr. Odell Beckham. was one of the major stories of Madden 22 coins the week after Odell Beckham Jr. and Cleveland Browns decided to part the ways, with his waiving expected to be officially official on Monday. Naturally, considering his position on the Lions list and number. first priority for waivers, many are contemplating if Detroit will include him once it comes to waivers. being processed.
Personally, I believe there’s very little chance of it taking place. Given how the Browns restructured his contract–eliminating both remaining years on his contract, and not adjusting his 2021 salary–it makes little sense for Detroit. They’d need to create large amounts of capacity space to accommodate Beckham onto the roster this year, and they’d only play nine games with Beckham (if Beckham doesn’t get protests about joining Detroit) prior to becoming an unrestricted free agent. Sure, they could possibly obtain a compensatory player out of it, but this is the case if they’re not already active as free agents.
If it comes to Madden we don’t need to fret about locker room drama and creating a sense of culture or even care over the cap on salary to much.
For this week’s Madden simulation, we’re creating Beckham to be a Lion and pitting Detroit against the most pathetic team within the NFL (according to Madden) and that’s the Houston Texans, in a desperate effort to see this team be victorious in a game, or otherwise.
