Thermal transfer printing uses the principle of sublimation of disperse dyes or inks, using paper as a carrier, and transferring patterns printed on paper to fabrics through temperature sublimation.
The key point of thermal transfer printing is that dyes must be sublimated under certain temperature and pressure conditions. Because Tencel fabrics are printed with reactive dyes, they do not require high temperature and pressure, and do not have sublimation conditions. Therefore, Tencel fabrics mainly use watermarks and digital printing. The heat transfer printing process cannot be used.

The sublimation method is commonly used in thermal transfer printing. The principle is to use the sublimation characteristics of disperse dyes to transfer disperse dyes to synthetic fibers such as polyester and fix them under high temperature conditions. The specific process is to pass the pattern through the plate-making roller or flat screen, or it can be printed on the paper by a rotary screen printing machine with disperse dyes or inks. Then the transfer printing paper with patterns and patterns will be merged by the transfer printing machine and the fabric under the adapted temperature and pressure conditions. After physical and chemical action, the patterns and patterns on the paper will be sublimated and transferred to the surface of the fabric instantaneously, and at the same time diffuse and *** into the fiber.
