Now the project has been closed down from Riot. In a post on the Chronoshift site, its developers say they have obtained legal takedown notices in the LoL developer, but just after a Riot staffer got in touch with one of them through Discord to attempt to shut down the job without the participation of attorneys. To LoL smurf accounts estimate the Riot worker:”You have clearly put a lot of work into Chrono shift, but I assure you that the Chrono fracture is coming.” Last night, the website had been removed and replaced by a message in the development group describing the project’s closure and alleging the”Riot Games security department has contacted usand attempted to dupe us into handing over our code and site into them”. A Riot rep confirmed to PC Gamer that the conversation happened but refused extortion.

The Chronoshift dev message contained a URL to an image showing the Discord dialog between Chronoshift developer’Lord Lothendran’ and’zed’, who explains themselves through an email as a member of”the Riot Games Security team”.

From the Discord conversation, zed begins by saying that,”The Riot Games legal staff is not super thrilled about your job unfortunately and is searching for a means to come to some mutually acceptable end for it” The dialog proceeds amicably for a scant few messages, until it appears like Lothendran or a different Chronoshift developer starts to delete items from the Discord server. “I admire the effort to cheap LoL accounts cleanse your stations [Lothendran’s name], but I’ll be real with you that’s making me think you do not have a whole lot of interest in working,” they say. “We archived all your messages long before you nuked the channel. It’s possible to delete the’personal’ channels also if you like (you know, mod-chat, backend-todo, game-issues-archived, old_videos, etc) but I’d prefer you did not because it really won’t do you any good anyhow. You have obviously put a great deal of work into Chrono change, but I guarantee you that the Chrono fracture is coming”
