Animal Crossing: New Horizons features its soundtrack
Although it is not the aspect that is normally given more importance, every great video game that is known is accompanied by a memorable soundtrack. The saga of Animal Crossing, in addition to many other virtues, finds a good part of the secret of its success in the perfect atmosphere provided by its musical compositions. And there are many players who love being able to extract those pieces so that they transcend the game itself and become part of the musical setting of their day to day. As of today, Nintendo Switch is no longer the exclusive music terrain of the Desert Islands Settlement Plan. If a few days ago we announced the arrival of the manga, now it is the turn of the sound. The soundtrack for Animal Crossing: New Horizons items is about to arrive.

It’s no secret that the digital platform boom has been synonymous with crisis for the physical music market. It is increasingly common to have everything at the click of a button on your computer or smartphone, and it is also usually cheaper and more comfortable. Despite this, the physical format still has an irreplaceable charm for many. Aware of this, creators of physical content have to put in an extra effort to make their product attractive. And the presentation trailer for this soundtrack is a sample of this need and this great effort, presenting a product that enters both through the eyes and ears.
The pack includes a total of 7 CD’s, separated into two subgroups: 4 of them, decorated with images inspired by the most successful title of the last year on Nintendo, include the musical settings of the beginning of the game for ACNH buy bells, 24 hours a day (with its weather variants), the seasonal events and even the tense music of wasp chase that stresses us all so much. The other 3, on the other hand, include the entire musical discography of our favorite musician: Totakeke. All this, well protected by two beautiful boxes, and accompanied by a small addition that will also be useful in the day to day: a headphone case with the design of Totakeke and a poster of Totakeke Jacket Artworks.
The soundtrack can be booked on the PlayAsia website, which ships worldwide. If you do not mind that all the physical content is in Japanese (music, after all, is a universal language) or pay the shipping costs, which add to the 87,75 € base price, you can already make the reservation. At the moment, there is no news that an edition will be released for America or Europe, so it is the only way to get hold of this extraordinary pack, which will be on sale from June 9. Enjoy the sound journey!
